Kat, unplugged

Yes, I am still here. I took the summer off from blogging -- this is my Taiwan blog, for one thing, and I was 7,000 miles away -- and figured I'd get back into things once we settled in. Well, we've been without internet access for most of the last week, so my plans have been thwarted. I'm writing from the library at school, and will just say for now that we're all doing fine: one small earthquake, two small typhoons, and weeks and weeks of rain since we returned. So everything's back to normal.

Cole started 5th grade today, by the way. Can you believe it?

Kathy,

Glad to hear you made it back safe and sound. My computer got a virus and now I have no email for awhile, only minimal computer. It was sure nice to see you and your 5th grader (as well as your preschooler!)this summer. I now have a 13 year old - how weird is that?! TTFN ~ Traci

Hello Sister

Glad you're safe, with all the global upheaval and all.

When did you get a fifth grader?

Love you,
Sister

Ummm...hello? FIFTH grader? PRE-schooler??? When did all this HAPPEN?!?
Wait...maybe somewhere around the time that I became TWENTY-ONE, as well as the time that I (who have always called someone 'aunt') am now going to BE an aunt...and the same time as you are becoming a GREAT aunt. This is insane. When did everyone in the world grow UP??? :)
I'm glad you are all safe and doing well! Tell everyone I love and miss them from India!
I love hearing from you on my blog...keep writing!
Got to make some much needed phone calls...but I'm going home for Christmas! Wish you were coming as well...but we'll be able to talk more!
Love and miss you always.
Niece :)

MAN! I was thinking about you and wondering if you were coming this summer. I missed you again! ACK!

Well, maybe next summer. YOu said something about Cole being in grade five on Facebook and I was shocked then. Still shocked! SO WEIRD. Esp since I never see you, I still think of Cole as about seven and Nora as just toddling around gabbering adorably while you taught sign language class:)
